Not sure what to say?

Mr Spann was friends with my Dad Carl Williams and became my surrogate dad when my dad passed away in 2006. He affectionately called me "girlfriend" and was there for me in more ways than I can count to offer advice, guidance and friendship. He & Sandye have been steadfast in my life since then. He will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Sandye. You & Mr Spann were a prime example of what love and marriage looks like. Sincerest condolences.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to you both, Sandye and Philip. You will always be a part of our New York family, and James will always be remembered as the kind and gentle soul he was.

Our love and deepest sympathies to the Spann family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Our prayers are with you and the Spann family.
