Dear Kerin and family, When I think of your father a smile comes to my face. What a wonderful Pediatrician who warmly welcomed me into the pediatric practice, Timber Lane Pediatrics. He had such a twinkle in his eye, ready for mirth, such as his witty limericks and full Halloween Mickey Mouse costume! Jim lived a meaningful, impactful life and was loved by so many. Dr. Stackpole was the most wonderful doctor ever. As a young mother having my first baby, he was so understanding and caring and continued as my doctor through four more births. I could never thank him enough for all his love and care of my little ones. God Bless you Jim. Sue Crowley

Hugs and Prayers to your family! Our family appreciated Jim and Janet when they visited my Dad (Ken Ho) in the hospital and then rehab before he died. We have wonderful memories of the UVM '56 doctors coming to our chalet for the reunions. No doubt that the group of them are sitting around rehashing the old medical school stories up in heaven!

Thinking of all of you in the loss of your beloved Jim.A truly wonderful man,husband,father,grandfather,doctor and most of all a dear friend.Jim and Janet share the most wonderful day of our lives with John and I. June 23rd 1956 our wedding day. Through family, friends and Cathedral Church we always remained close friends. Our sincere sympathy and prayers, peace and God bless.

I am saddened to learn of Jim's passing, and I send my love and condolences to all of you. He was such a special friend and doctor who guided me (as a new and young mother) through all the bumps and bruises. I remember when I had my fifth daughter he left a note on my bed in the hospital - "Well Sue you have another one without outside plumbing."
