R.I.P. Stanley

I met James while attending college at Auburn University. We were neighbors and became good friends. I remember the fun we had going to football and basketball games, having spaghetti and pizza parties and barbecue! He always had a love for cooking, and the last time I saw him many years ago, he had made it his life work. I remember James as being a very amicable guy that made friends easily, and he never had an evil word to say about anyone. My deepest sympathy to his family for their...

James and I were best friends from 8-10 grade. To the family may God continue to bless and keep you during this time.

to be rememberd always that great smile James.I am happy to have had the opportunity be friends growing up together in Riley.I will never forget that crazy so called date that you had with my sister Havely and I am sure she will never forget it either. just know that our dear brother James is with the Father now and that is good place to rest. I will see my closest cousin again.

James and I had a very special relationship. He was the first guy to hold my hand, walk me home from Riley Elementary school, purchase me a gift - which I had to return, and kiss me (on my cheek). I remember the night we watched the stars until 4:00 a.m. and caused so much trouble in our community. I can laugh now, but it was not funny then. We remained a couple even when he went to JVHS and I remained at Riley. He was always caring and quirky, like me. We had a lot in common.
