Not sure what to say?

I long ago moved to Connecticut and was not aware of Jim's passing until i saw his name near my mother's resting place.
My wife Kathy( nee Skebe) and I knew Jim and the other Steiner boys from our days working together in South Euclid at Cream O Freeze. In our teens we worked some long and fun days, played some baseball and a few rounds of golf, and also both attended the 1972 Regina High School prom. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

To the Steiner family: I'm an old friend of Jim and Dave's from high school days. I was away from Ohio over the weekend and did not hear of Jim's passing until today (Thursday). As I sit here at work in tears, I want to express my heartfelt condolences to Jim's wife, parents and siblings for the loss of this gentle man. You're all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Please know much love and prayer comes your way with this news. My love to all the family, Ardee and Gerry and to your family, and to Bob and Rosemary Bowers.

Dear Jan~
I'm thinking of you and feeling with you in your sorrow. I shall remember your dear Jim (and you and your family) in my prayers. You now have another guardian angel to watch over you.
With kindest thoughts and heartfelt sympathy ~

Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Jim was a valued colleague and friend for many staff members at Cleveland State University. We were sorry when he left the university, but we were happy about his new professional opportunity. He will be missed.
