James L. Steinhauser Jr.
September 23, 1956 - April 24, 2024

Today we are mourning the loss of your beloved James L. Steinhauser. He passed away Wednesday the 24th. His friends and family know him as Jim. Jim spent 49 years as a union painter here in the greater St. Louis IUPAT DC58. Jim spent most of his life in Hazelwood. He was an avid bowler, tossing 2 perfect game/300 games. He enjoyed fishing and later in life became very passionate with online fantasy sports. More importantly Jim enjoyed time with his family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents James L. Steinhauser Sr. and Lorraine Cummings; his sister Denise Dement; his son James C. Steinhauser Sr.; and grandson James C. Steinhauser Jr.

James is survived by his beloved wife Betty Steinhauser; children Joey (Nikki) Steinhauser and Brenda (John) Wilson; grandchildren Gabby, Isabelle, Riley, Isabella, and Alexis; brothers Martin Steinhauser and Erick Nygaard; sister Regina Macri; nieces and nephews Jason Dement, Aaron Dement, Sara Biddle, Keith Steinhauser, Kat Steinhauser, Kaley Steinhauser, Brooks Denny, Jacki Macri, and Brandt Macri.

Memorial visitation Sunday, April 28, 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann).
