Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry to hear of Jim's demise. As former Kalamazoo neighbors, we always enjoyed meeting up with Jim while out for a walk. He loved to tell us stories about the "old neighborhood" or he would stop by to check on the progress of our "never ending" remodeling project to offer his praise and encouragement. Our time knowing him was too short--he will be missed.

Jim Stewart was a kind, thoughtful, and honorable man. His passing leaves a big hole in Kalamazoo. He will be missed by many.

Dear Cindy and family...my heart, thoughts & prayers are with you. May your memories hold you strong during this sad time. I enjoyed my time working at Stewart Clarke Furniture. Denise (Dee) Boyer (Portage, MI)

Our heart felt sympathies go out to the family of Jim Stewart. We will miss seeing him at the cottage in Wildewood this summer. He always had a big smile and a lively step when he was among the pines at the cottage overlooking the Big Lake. He will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

Dear Cindy, and Stewart family, I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My mother, Ellen Smith, so enjoyed working for the Stewart family all those years. I was happy to see him almost every day while I worked for the Gazette. He was a very special person to our family he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Cindy, and Stewart family, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Stewart's passing. I will never forget my first "real job" at Stewart Clarke and working in your beautiful store. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. Respectfully,

Marti, Judy, Cindy & Nancy:
Just spoke with Marti and wanted you all to know my heart and my prayers are with you all - you know my times with your family are the happiest memories I have of childhood. I am sending love and blessings to you all in this very sad time. Know that I love you all always - Julie (Green) Skinner

Dear Stewart family and Marcia, so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. As a Florida neighbor, we will miss our conversations as Jim would always stop and visit during his walks. Terry and the Worthington men's Bible study group will miss his participation. Such a kind and caring person. You are in our prayers.

Dear Stewart family,

I was saddened to hear of Uncle Jim's passing, and I pray that God's grace and peace will comfort you in this time of loss.
