Not sure what to say?

I am very late in expressing my sympathy., having just read of James Stewart passing. He was our music and drama teacher at Chestnut Ridge HS in Fishertown, Pa. I was so heavily influenced and encouraged by his coaching that after graduation in 1956 I moved out of State and pursued an acting career. I appeared in several movies, TV commercials and on stage in other productions. I never forgot his coaching and encouragement. He gave me the self confidence I was lacking in high school. He told...

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. My deepest sympathies and condolences to the family and friends.

Jim Stewart was a favorite teacher of mine. He started a chorus at our new Chestnut Ridge High School in the late 50's of which I was a part. He was a great teacher and fun and encouraging to learn from. We were honored to have him sing at our wedding in 1962. His
powerful voice singing "Ava Maria" brought tears to many eyes. In the early 90s we ran into each other when to my surprise it was Jim who drove his son and my daughter back to college after a Thanksgiving weekend. My sincerest...

My heart felt sorrow to the family. Mr. Stewart was a fantastic teacher and friend. I will always be grateful for his influences on me in my musical career.

Sorry to hear of his passing. My family enjoyed choral music at Mechnicsburg for many years under his direction. He was a great advisor for the student council too. RIP and Alleluia!

Mr. Stewart was one of my favorite teachers in high school. I loved singing in his Glee Club. He made it fun, while making us sing very serious works too. My condolences to his family. May you take comfort knowing that he touched many lives in a positive way during his time here with us.

For the nearly 40 years since I sang for Mr. Stewart, he has remained in my head. I can hear him telling me how to sing certain words and hear the clap of his hands. I was so fortunate to be in touch with him throughout my life and he was always supportive. He made Glee Club Cool long before it became popular on TV :) Blessings and peace to all of you, his loved ones. May he rest in peace and rise in glory and may light perpetual shine upon him.

Mr. Stewart was my favorite teacher in High School and helped launch my career as a musician. He was so talented and dedicated to classical music. I will always have fond memories of him.

I would like to extend my condolences to the family. Death is never something we get use to. But know during this time you are not alone. Our Creator promises better days ahead. He will give you the strength needed to get through this difficult time.
