Not sure what to say?

I am a Rush inpatient right now and Dr.Stefoski just informed me of this sad news. Like others, I was very blessed to be a patient of Dr.Stewart's. He was a significant influence who worked with me though some of the toughest times of my MS. My journey and outcome would have been much less favorable without his guiding hand.

Deepest condolences.

I was a patient of his for many years at Rush. Dr Stewart was one of the best out there, anywhere, ever. He helped me through some rough days and for that I'm ever grateful.

My condolences.
I am very fortunate to be a former patient.

I remember Jim as a good friend during our days at SICP. May he rest in peace.

Jim was a wonderful colleague here at Rush. My condolences to his family.

Chris Grote, Ph.D

Dr. Stewart touched the lives of many patients and all of us that were lucky enough to have him as a supervisor at Rush. I was recently telling my own interns about him, and how we took him out for a beer and gave him a card. He was tickled pink-- the same color as his shirt! He will be greatly missed. Sending prayers and peace to the family.

I am so deeply sorry to hear this-- Dr Stewart was truly one of the best clinical supervisors I ever had and has deeply informed not only my clinical work but how I interact with my own supervisees. May his memory be for a blessing.
