Jimmy was the joy of our class. He was quiet, funny and serious. He made everyone feel important and respected. You knew he was destined for great things by the way he carried himself.

He was one of my father's favorite people ever. I used to attend games when Jimmy coached Minden High School and played Wossman in Monroe. Those were great games. I was just a kid but was always impressed with Jimmy and his comprosure in those heated games. My father told me many stories about Jimmy as a kid playing baseball in Doyline....best kid he had ever seen. My sincerest sympathy,

Mr. Jimmy Stewart was a wonderful man. Always caring about people and his students. He had my son and after his class he told them this was it for him. Class of 2005. Praying for the family of this wonderful man.

I am so proud to have known Jimmy and call him a sweet friend. He and Bob were close friends and co-hearts! in the cattle business. He was a wonderful Principal to Doyline students and was always willing to help the parents and students in any way possible. He will be missed.
