James H. Stewart

I am just reading this at 10:10 p.m. on January 22. I had no idea there was a memorial service today...so sorry to have missed it. I worked for Jim Stewart and Associates and Empire Lab from 1965-1974. What a wonderful man. So glad to connect with him at the memorial service a few years ago for Dick Rutherford.....enjoyed visiting with him. Condolences to the family, but he lived such a wonderful long life....Judy Straayer

Jim was always one of the kindest men I got to know thru my grandfather. He went out of his way when I was headed to Cal to make sure I knew what a special place it was and how it could enrich my life for good-- introducing me to his crew of Old Blues at Ironwood when I was down for a visit. A kind man, a kind heart and a fantastic community member. He and Fran were exemplary friends to so many. Go bears. My thoughts are with all of his family who loved so. Chris Osborn
