James A. Stewart

I was a patient of Dr Stewart´s for over thirty years after my dad suggested I meet with him. It was always a doctor/patient relationship, but there were times when he did share his life´s stories with me. One thing he did teach me is you better be able to back up anything you say or do. He wouldn´t let me off the hook if I said or did something stupid. Dr Stewart really tried to keep the relationship professional, but I think we also became good friends. Jim was one or our dad's (John Mumma) best friends. They met for breakfast and eventually spoke on the phone weekly for many years. We are eternally grateful to the Stewart family for sharing your amazing Jim with our Pa.

Jim was a remarkable man, and made a lasting difference to many. He was ethical, learned, and insightful. Thanks, Jim, for your friendship over the years.

Jim was a great lover of history and all forms of knowledge. He shared this passion with friends and his patients. He was a respected scholar and a very talented man.
