James “Buddy” Allen Stiles, age 43, of Farmington, died suddenly on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Born March 23, 1963 in York, Maine the son of Geri Tucker Dean and Richard J. Stiles, Sr., he was a graduate of Robert W. Traip Academy in Kittery, Maine, Class of 1982.

Over the years, he managed or owned numerous restaurants throughout Maine and New Hampshire. He spent the last six years providing for his family’s future by designing, building and operating their business; Hunter’s Tavern.

His love of children was shown through the success of his annual toy drive at Hunter’s Tavern. He was a proud sponsor of the 500 Boys and Girls Club and also sponsored the Henry Wilson Men’s softball league.

Buddy especially loved spending time fishing with his son Hunter, working on his mustang, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years: Sonya Legere Stiles and their son, his best friend Hunter Gerard Stiles, of Farmington, his parents: Geri Tucker Dean of Zephyrhills, FL & Richard Stiles, Sr. “Gator” of Ft. Myers, FL, his sisters and brothers: Elizabeth Stiles of Woodstock, GA, Richard Stiles, Jr. of Zephyrhills, FL, Kimberly Boone of Manassas, VA, Jennifer Helgeson of Farmington, MN and Jason Stiles of Portsmouth, NH, also nieces and nephews: Joshua & Justyn Helgeson, Christopher & Madison Stiles, Jeffrey, Tyler & Michael Stiles, also other family members: Gina Legere, Arthur Dean, Deb Stiles, Jeffrey Helgeson, Margie Stiles and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours are Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the First Congregational Church on Main Street in Farmington with Rev. Warren Hedrick, officiating. Interment will be in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington. Buddy, This is the second Mothers Day without you and the empty fealing in my stomach is still there. Even though I didn't see you on Mothers Day you always called and told me you loved me and I miss that so much. Even though I have your brother and three sisters our lives have changed so much and i know it will never be the same again. We all miss you and love you. Muma

Spring just isn't the same with you not here! On a day like today we could go down town and see you either sitting on the steps at Hunter's with your poland spring water in hand or cruising back and forth in the Mustang! Down town will never look the same with out you in it!

Buddy it has been a year now, and still things are not the same. I still look at the doors from time to time thinking you are right there. I miss you Buddy as do a lot of people and just so you know we all look out for Sonya and Hunter. I will always remember that smile on your face and now I see that smile on Sonya's face. I will see you again someday and when that day comes you can say once again here comes trouble. I love you Buddy!!!!
