Dear Sandy, Jimmy, & Stacey ,
Mr. Raymond Coullard, and I (Raoul D. Revord, Esq.) both graduated with James from Michigan State University in 1963 and were pretty close friends during those university years. I was talking with Ray today via telephone and we both recalled with favor our friend and classmate James Stodola. I am so proud of his service record . Ray is a U.S. Navy veterin from Sault Ste. Marie, MI and I spent my Viet Nam years at the U.S. Army White Sands Missile Range,...

He was the best officer that I ever worked for at Bangor or on any duty while in the Marine's. Truly and good man and great Marine. S/SGT Bruce Hughes Retired USMC

Jim will be missed, a dream boss , a real leader, honest, cares for his people, having him as a Director at County Veteran's Office was an honor and a pleasure. Life is always good!!!

Jim will be missed, an ideal boss, a true leader, honest, sincere, he cares for his people, fight for his people. The years I spent working for him was one of the best year of my life, we had a the best CVSO, always number 1, we were the A team, due to his guidance and leadership by example, like having a dad and a grandfather

Dear Uncle Jim,

Men like you are hard to come by. I feel honored to have been able to know a man of your discipline and to have learned from a man of your integrity. The love that you showed for Sandy, Jimmy, & Stacy is a model that I will try to share with Brennan and my family. Thank you for the kindness that you showed to me, and the many wonderful memories.

Sincerely,

Hello Sandy, Jimmy, & Stacey: I am so sad to learn of Jim's passing yet happy that he can be relieved of his pain and suffering and finally get to a place where the Padres never lose a game. I have great respect for my brother in law. I will never forget his appearance on the Hawaiian stage as 'Satchmo'. I am currently in the mountains in Spain walking the Camino de Santiago where there is no better place to pray and remember what a good man Jim Stodola was and to ask God to bring him into...

My deepest sympathies. May the "God of all comfort," help to ease the pain of your grief during this time.(1 Cor 1:3,4)

I was so sad to hear of Jim's passing as he was my Godfather! I have not seen him in many many years however my Mother, Margaret Stodola Anderson, Jim's "Aunt Margaret" kept in touch with Christmas cards and the like. Our condolences to the family.
