Not sure what to say?

Mr. Stoner was the best teacher that I ever had ... launched me into ham radio and a career in electronics and physics. I still have one of his early ham radios. W8SKV will endure forever.
I would love for Penny or Dale to have it. You can contact me at [email protected]
I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing; he did so much for so many students. He will be missed!

Penny, I enjoyed seeing you with your dad when you brought him to Church. What a Happy and friendly man he was. May God Bless and comfort you at this time. Blessings,

Dear Penny & Dale,
We were very sorry to hear of Harley's passing. We will miss him.
He was a mentor to me as I was beginning to teach. Almost every eveninng after school, he would give me different ideas on how to teach a particular area of physics. I was a better teacher because of his encouragement.
We have great memories of camping and canoeing with both of your parents. Several times, we met them at Luther and Gerry would have a snack of cookies for us and our...

The BEST TEACHER I EVERY HAD !!!!!!!

I had Mr. Stoner for Physics at DMHS. He was a tough teacher, but very helpful when you were confused about the subject. I saw him a few times after graduation and he was always interested in his past student's lives. Sympathies to the extended family.

Mr. Stoner was such a great teacher. He made the classes so interesting. I have fond memories of high school science classes at Bad Axe H.S. I married a chemist and boy do those classes come in handy. He and Mrs. Stoner were absolutely wonderful teachers and people. They are both missed. Ellen Slavin Defever

Dear Penny and Dale,

I was so sorry to hear this. Your parents were both wonderful people, and I'm so glad I got to see them in their later years. I will always have fond memories of them.

Mr. Stoner was a wonderful gentleman. He touched so many lives during his career. I was fortunate to have known and worked with him. Robert Fitzgerald, NC

Dear Penny and Dale, Harley was a very special friend and he will be missed in the neighborhood. He was looking forward to another winter in Florida when I talked to him last--Thanks for the email--I was babysitting at my daughters on 10/19 and didn't know about his hip, it seems impossible when I remember him riding his bike around the block--3 times. He was a very special man.
