Not sure what to say?

Jim was such an amazing person and chatting with him was the best, whether the conversation was profound or just plain silly, it didn´t matter. He was the kind of person that you wanted to confide in, someone who gave you his full attention and was always quick to offer kind words and support. A scientist and artist with the rare heart of a true gentleman. I miss you, dear friend.

Got to know Jim during his time with Pace where he worked on site at 3M. It was always fun to spend time talking to him about anything and everything under the sun. He will be missed. So sorry for your loss!

Jim: Thank you for all of your kindness, camaraderie, and willingness to share your wealth of knowledge over the years. Your keen mind and gentle soul will be remembered always.

I knew Jamie at Central and at Macalester. He was a dear friend!! He helped me with college math classes ( whew) and we enjoyed exploring lots of music together. A close and dear friend. RIP, Jamie.

Jim was a wonderful musician and valued member of the Mississippi Valley Orchestra. He was the assistant conductor for many years and leader for the French horns section. He will be missed! My condolences to his family.

I loved Jamie. We spent many hours at House of Hope in high school and our youth group. Jamie was such a wonderful musician and friend to all of us. Although I have not seen him in many years, he will always be part of my happiest memories both at church and in high school.

On behalf of the McGraw family I would like to extend our condolences to the Straka family on Jamie's passing. He was our next door neighbor while we were growing up in the 1960s and early 1970s. I remember he liked to shoot baskets in our back yard.

Rest In Peace, dear Jamie.
