Not sure what to say?

Although time has marched on since Jim's passing, fond memories of his smile and kind spirit remain. He will always be remembered in prayers.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Jim's death. I discovered his obituary yesterday when I looked him up to wish him a happy 50th. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies go out to the entire Sullivan family. He loved his daughters and family so very much. Jim was a good friend to me. Intelligent, compassionate, well read, so darn funny in so many ways, a deep thinking, deeply caring soul. We shared a love of music and Kurt Vonnegut among other things. My thoughts and prayers continue for Jim's family and friends. With much affection,
Molly

Dear Sullivan Family,
We are deeply sorry for your loss. We will keep you in our prayers always.

Jim, thank you for the gift of friendship and the energy you shared with us. I send my heartfelt condolences to your family. May you rest in peace.

My Uncle Jim was a reliable, persistent man who was a good father, a loving son, and a supportive brother. He was always full of advice to foster education and professional perserverance. Uncle Jim was very kind and calm- someone you could trust and feel comfortable being your true self around. There was a calm aspect to him that I will fondly remember when I would see him every Christmas Eve. I will miss him very much.

Jim was a truly fine and decent man; kind, and intelligent, with a great sense of humor and a patient and generous nature. We are truly saddened by his loss and wish Emily, Samantha and all those closest to him, love, peace and the comfort of many happy memories. We will miss Uncle Jim.
