I was so sorry to hear about Jim. Robbie called me from California to tell me about it. What could be worse. My heart goes out to you. I wish I could comfort you in some way. Please know that Nelson and I will pray for you and your family. Only God knows why these things happen. But have faith that Jim is in a better world and is now praying for us as we pray for him.

When I returned last night from a trip, there was a message from Roger about Jim's death. I looked on the BHM News website to get some information. I did not know Jim, but I developed a good feeling for him reading the other comments on the guest book. As fond as I am of both of you, I can imagine what a neat guy he must have been. He was 7 months younger than our 2nd son, Drew, who is an Asst. Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church...

Your cheerful atitude and winning ways will be missed by all. Your short presence on this earth, influenced so many in a positive manner.

Robin and Jim:

Jerry and I were so terribly saddened to learn of your unexpected loss. We can still remember Jim as a fine, handsome young man standing on your dock at Lake Martin. Please remember that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

My heart goes out to Robin and Jim Sulzby, my cousins, in the loss of their child Jim. I remember our two sons, Jim and Bill, playing in their back yard when they were only about four years old. Jim was so eager to share and play with a little cousin he had never met before. He welcomed him into his world as if he were a longtime friend.
Now he enters into another greater world where he will be met by grandparents, aunts, and uncles who have already passed over and by my older...

Dear Robin and Jim,
I will always cherish my time with you and Jim during our swimming days. I can still see Jim wearing his funny little "fishing hat" that he always wore at meets and just around the pool. It was my priviledge to have known such a fine young man. You two and Jean will stay in my prayers.

I had the privilege of knowing Jim (albeit for a relatively short period of time). The entire time I knew him I can not remember ever seeing him in a bad mood. When I found out on Saturday about the accident, I could hardly believe it. Why?!! would god see fit to take him now, he was too young..had too much ahead of him... but I guess you can not question those sort of things. It is hard to put into words what Jim's loss means to me. It is hard for me to even think about not seeing him...

You will be missed greatly. I sign this on behalf of my wife, Cammy and my son Lewis.
