Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMC in Korea fighting the communist North Koreans and Chinese. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines of the "Old Corps" back then that all us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. Had the Honor of working w/ Jimmy at the Scituate Harbormaster. A true gentleman. Loved talking politics with Jimmy. His knowledge was boundless! Never wanted to be known as a hero or a brilliant man... He was both, yet you never knew of his history. The way he wanted it. I´d like to say I knew him... And I´m sure in his final days.... He lived it out on his own terms! God Bless James F. Sutherland and his family. We all who worked w/ Jimmy at Scituate Harbormaster are better for knowing this...
