Not sure what to say?

Dear Jim´s family, I´m sorry this entry is so late but I was just thinking about Jim to see if he was still at Glenn and am heartbroken to see his obituary. I was a grad student at CWRU when I met Jim and was struggling with a pompous advisor/professor. Jim took me aside and explained that I should make a career change and I did and it was one of the best decisions of my life. I got my PhD and because of Jim never let anyone call me doctor. I knew I wanted to be like him. There is no one...

worked with Jim in Bldg. 49, Probably the coolest researcher I ever met.
Such a class guy. What all that education he was still a regular guy, no ego, never pompous. I sure miss him.

Dear Connie & Sutter Family,

My sincerest sympathies to you at this difficult time, will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers. I worked with Jim on several of our NASA projects and can truly say he was one of the good guys. I always enjoyed spending time with him at our meetings, and unwinding at the end of the day. His jovial approach to solving difficult issues was a welcome change and a model to us all.

Tom & family:

I was very saddened to hear of Jim's passing, but was glad to have the privilege to have known him over the past 20+ years and to have occasionally worked directly with him when we had NASA-GRC projects. His presence in the composites community will be greatly missed, but his contributions will not be forgotten. He was more than a colleague to those who knew him, he was also a friend.

Dear Connie and family,
I just saw this and am so sorry for your loss! When I saw his picture here, it made me smile, because he was such a fun, warm person. I'm so glad that I had known him and my heart goes out to you all. His soul lives on...Dyann

Tom,
my condolences. I enjoyed every interaction I had with Jim.

Sorry for this tremendous loss! His sense of humor was extraordinary. My favorite Jim story is from the first time I met him, I asked him what he did here at NASA. He said he was a chef. The look on my face must have registered as 'puzzled' and he said, I'm a chemist, so I mix a little of this and a little of that, and a pinch of whatever, so essentially, I'm a chef. I thought that was just way too funny. I always looked forward to him stopping by our clinic. We all had our favorite...

Connie and family my condolences on Jim's passing
Jim had an infectious personality. His wit will be missed.

Dear Connie, Tom, Katie & AJ.
We are so sorry to hear about Jim. He was taken way to young and only God knows why. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May Jim rest in peace.
