The one thing that pops into my mind about Jim was has laugh. One in the family had his laugh. It was truly Jim. I spent almost a year with him and his family when I was young. Being on the short side he could hold his own with his brothers. We will miss him.

My dear Great Uncle Jimmy. I have so many memories of Uncle Jimmy teaching me card games and telling crazy stories about his time as an iron worker. He was like another grandfather to me. Love you Uncle jimmy you will be so missed

My great uncle Jimmy was such a light. We always cherished his trips up to Minnesota to spend time with our family. One of my most distinct childhood memories is sitting with him at the kitchen table and playing the card game 'war', which he taught me as soon as I could count to ten. He made such an impact on our family, especially my mom. They had such a wonderful relationship. He was so loved and will be dearly missed.
