James J. Sweeney

I've only ever to go to court once in my life and Judge Sweeney was my judge. Needless to say I was ever so greatful for him. He let me explain and sided with me as well. I never forgot your kindness and generosity sir. Thank you. Mrs. Sweeney you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Judge.

JJ was a stalwart friend to my Dad from grade school, a colleague & mentor to my Mom and sisters as Admin. Judge, and a kind, dear friend to me and all who crossed his path. Doubtful another person as authentic and selfless will come our way, but the example he set will last forever. God Bless JJ Sweeney

Jim was a good friend for over 55 yrs he will be missed.

Jim was always a caring man. He was a man I looked up to when growing up on West 93rd in Cleveland. He was indeed a jurist who had compassion. GOD REST HIS SOUL!
