Renee, You and Jim added so much to Crooks Memorial years ago. I truly enjoyed his talent at the organ and his knowledge of the types of music available to a church choir. And you filled in on the voice parts so well. We will certainly miss Jim but figure he has a new gig in a new place.

We found the obituary and will be praying for the memorial service on Tuesday. Thanks for letting us know about Jim's condition. We are glad to have had our last conversation with him before he died.

Renee, we were so sorry to hear of Jim's death. You and he gave us much pleasure while you were in South Hill. His life is relived every Sunday here when Jimmie, Jr. cranks up the mighty Reuter Jim had so much to do with. You may not be aware that Jimmie, Jr. now holds the position Jim did at the Church. Again, you have our most sincere sympathy.

I am devastated by the death of Jim. He was such a positive influence in my life, as were you. I have so many wonderful memories of him. Some of my happiest moments were spent servicing pipe organs with him when I was in high school. Just know that you are in my prayers.

Dear Mike, Please accept my deepest sympathies in the loss of your brother, Jim. I know that for many years he lived only an hour or so away, yet I never met him again after leaving Shinnston. My memories of playing with Jim in the Shinnston High School band and hanging around with The Emeralds are great. I was excited at the prospect that you would move to Williamsburg, VA. Alas. I hope to see you at the SHS 50th Reunion. Maybe you will tell me something of Jim's life. I hope you are...
