Not sure what to say?

It´s been 12 years since we lost my very dear friend Jimmy. He was my travel buddy, my best friend, and I miss him daily. We knew each other so well. He always made me feel like one of the most important people in the world. I miss you Jimmy and can´t wait to see you again.

To the Swords family; I just found out about James. I am so sorry for your loss and so proud to have had James as a shipmate and a friend. Served with James on the USS SAN JACINTO CG-56. God Bless and keep you during this hard time. Swords, I'll catch up with you on the other side. Rest easy my friend, you deserve it. We'll always be Jersey boys. Dwayne T. To the Swords family; I was so sorry to see this announcement. May you rest in peace Jim Swords. I served with Jimmy on board USS San Jacinto CG 56 from 1987-1990. I remember him as always being friendly and great guy. You will be missed. Brian J. Wiener (YN3)

I served with James on the USS San Jacinto, he was a great guy and wonderful friend. I miss his smile, surely he is in Heaven! Sometimes during a mid-watch he'd drop by my office and share some freshly baked rolls. Great man.

To the Swords family - my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad and difficult time. I became good friends with Jimmy during high school, and just recently was in touch with him this past year. He was one of the kindest and most genuine human beings I have ever known, and am so glad that we were able to talk after all these years. He will stay in all of our hearts forever - God Bless

Mrs. Swords, Carolyn, June and John, We learned of your sudden loss too late to attend services offering our support as you experienced this very difficult situation. But, we are close by. Just need to call or reach out and we will be there. In the meantime, please know we are praying for all of you.

Dear June,

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother, Jimmy. I just wanted to send my deepest condolences to you and your family.

I don't know what happens when we leave this world. I do believe that some where above the one you love is smiling over you, hoping you're okay and wishing you the strength and courage in the days and weeks ahead to get through this difficult time.

When some one we love becomes a memory, the memories become a treasure....
