Condolences to Jim's extended family.

I considered Jimmy to be a good friend. A classmate in high school, and a fellow National Guardsman, where we really got to know each other.

We were in the same company in the Guard and so spent drill nights together and lived together for two weeks of every summer.

Over the years, I would see Jim occasionally and remember well some of the festivals in downtown Grand Rapids, where he would demonstrate his dancing skills on the Calder...

To Jim's family: I am Jim's cousin Mavis from Ohio.
Our fathers were first cousins, and I have so many fond memories of when Eddie, Marie, and Jim would visit us relatives in PA and NY back in the sixties.
He and I reconnected a few years ago by phone, and I came to know him as a warm, caring, thoughtful man who always sent me cards for my birthday and all the holidays.
I know from our conversations that he was a Christian.
