Not sure what to say?

Jay was a wonderful and kind person, he will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Alice & family, there are no words sufficient to explain the incredible loss and sadness I feel at the loss of such a great guy. Jay was a kind, gentle man with a solid character who would help anyone in need even when he knew he wouldn't be appreciated. That's the kind of man he was.

Alice, you've been blessed by having a Father who was so proud and loving. You completed his life. His love for you was something rarely seen in the world today - we all can take a page from Jay...

Alice, Esther, Joe, Gerry and Steve:

I am so sorry. I have such fond memories of Jay. He was so patient and gentle with me, pretending he did not know I had a crush on him. When he was leaving he gave me his favorite record and boom box to play it on; between that and tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree I drove my family nuts.

I will always remember the day he came home in uniform he said well, hello Mam, and had a little chat with me and gave me a friendship...

What a lost you must be feeling at this time for which I'm truly sorry for. To have someone who enjoy life and is child like at heart (his trains)is great to have in this crazy world that we like in. I thought about Mr.Tabbi-Burke when I read Isaiah 65:25. Here a wonderful Paradise is describe. Here mankind and the animals will be at peace with one another and no harm will come to either one. This will bring you much comfort. Take care.

Esther, Jo, Gerry, Steve and Alice,
I am so sorry for your loss. When I saw Jay coming up the stairs on Bowdoin St in his uniform, it was love at first site for me. As we all remember, we had our first date on the big rock in the backyard, with a roasted chicken from Brother's Market and all the neighbors looking on! I have very fond memories of a gentle soul.

Esther, Joe, Jerry, Steve & Alice,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. My family lived on Bowdoin Street above G.I. Cleaners as well. Alice, although it's been many years since I last saw your dad, he raved about you!
I have so many happy memories from those days. May God Bless you. Please give my love to Esther, we lost touch.
