Not sure what to say?

James Taggart played a major role in my life over thirty years ago. His brand of old time banking and relationships is sorely needed again today. I am thankful that I shared my gratitude with him before he left us.

Mr. Taggart will truly be missed. But the joy of knowing he is with his wonderful wife Mrs. Bille can possibly comfort your family. I had the pleasure of caring for both of them many time in the PHG, I have missed her since she passed and him since the move. You had wonderful parents. I am very proud to have know them both. My prayers are with you all.

You all are in our prayers, we loved your dad, he was a fine man with a
big heart. I (Elizabeth) had the privilege to work for him at First Greenvile Natl Bank for many years.
He was special to me and my family during this time. He has a special
place in the hearts of all that knew him and all he has done for his friends.

May God Bless you all.

Bill and Family,
I am sorry for the loss of your father. Please know that you all are in our prayers.

Mrs. Taggart and Family...we are so very sorry to read of your loss. Mr. Taggart will always be remembered by our family with only the fondest memories.

You have my deepest sympathy. I don't know your family but reading the obituary in the paper I felt a connection. My dad John Morris was also born near the Clinton community in 1921 and my mom was born Helen Hise from the Floyd community in 1920. They are both gone on home to the Lord. What a rejoicing of old friends this must be.
In the sweet by and by.

The Taggart & Graham families were enter twined in the Salem community. My grandfather Raney A. Graham Sr. and James father were friends. Both families were Methodist. As head of Ne-Tex Oil in Wolf City and beyond much of the banking went threw Greenville National and long time friend James. My father Raney Jr. & James grew up good friends and James came to my father’s 75-birthday celebration. In 1960, my husband Don worked for James at the bank. We pray that precious memories will bring...

There will alway be a warm place in my heart for Mr. Taggart. My deepest sympathy for the family and especially for my longtime friend, Mary Mac.

I am sad over the loss of my old friend, James Taggart. He was older than me, but we both were invited to a Halloween party as kids. While trying to "bob for apples in a tub of water", I almost fell into the tub ! James "rescued"me, & many years later he rescued me from making some bad financial decisions!

Billie was my friend also. May they rest in peace! Their memory will live in the hearts of their friends.
