Not sure what to say?

We´re so sorry to hear that Jim passed away. We greatly admired that dear man.

Jim was a wonderful man and a great person. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Mary & Family - Our heartfelt sympathy in your loss of Jim. Many good memories of Jim when we all went up to Tom's cabin. (The fishing, working with Jim and Tom on the Gazebo, the games we played at night, etc.) He was a fine christian man who enjoyed conversation and laughter and who was committed to his family and faith. Sincere condolences, Dick & Judy DeHaan

Jim was a very kind hearted soul. He will be greatly missed here on earth. He was always a pleasure to talk with. I´m saddened I will not be able to attend his funeral due the fact that I´m in the hospital with Covid at this time. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I spent many years and hours with Jim when I taught at East. A great person, administrator, and friend. We enjoyed our times in the lounge solving the world problems and of course education. God be with you

He was a wonderful, kind person! I remember him as I was a child at Garfield Park Church and later in life when he became my boss at Grandville East Elementary. When my baby son had cancer he was the first at my side to console and raise money for expenses! Love this man! What a legacy to leave his family. Comfort to you all.

Jim was a wonderful mentor to me when I first started teaching first grade at Grandville Public Schools in 1972. He became a dear friend and will be missed. My sympathy to the family.

Deepest sympathies to Mary. Our memories of Garfield and consistory will be with us forever. Jim was a fine friend.
