Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family. May they be blessed in strength and love during this difficult time.

Granddaddy, I will miss you very much!! I will miss searching for your Western movies and sitting with you on the porch in the summer. I will never forget your sense of humor especially the day you tried to convince us to spend your paper dollar!! I love you and thank you for teaching my husband how to be a man. You did a great job! Your lesson will carry on in our household! RIP.

Hey GD, whats going on man? I know your knees don't hurt right now do they? I just wanted to say thank you for all the lessons you have taught me. I will keep them forever. Oh yea, and that hook shot in the back yard people hate that to this day. I'm going to miss you GD but I know your not going to far. I'll always have you in my heart I thank you & and I love you.You be good up there and make sure you eat lol!!!

My prayers go out to the Tatum Family. I grew up with the Mitchell Children in Blandford on Hannon Street. Mr. Tatum was one of the few father figures in the neighborhood. He was quite but caring. God has been good allowing you all so many years with your family intact. Be strong and know that earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal. Love from the remaining Garris Family...
