Family of James Taylor,
I grew up in Kirkville and attended the Wesleyan Church there. I loved the big bear hugs from Jim and he had a special nickname he always called me. I'll never forget how he could always make me smile when I didn't always want to smile. The nickname he gave me was "Peaches". I gained this nickname from him because my cheeks were always a rosy red. As a teenager and just starting to wear makeup Jim asked me if I was wearing blush this one Sunday, because he was...

Dear Connie and Family
I was so sorry to hear of Jim's homegoing. Reading his notice in the paper, it listed the 2 things I remember most-the twinkle in his eye and the bear hug-both came from a warm and loving heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Your dad's battle is over and if ever there was truth to the statement "Hell on Earth" I believe he suffer a real hell! You were a wonderful, outstanding daughter and he was very lucky to have you! Uncle Jim, You were loved more then you knew. When I think of you I remember back to family adventures to the drive-in in the blue station wagon, and how you would always Fly over thrill hill. Well now your flying with the angles and you are hugging loved ones that you have missed for sometime. Uncle Jim you will be missed, but never forgotten.
