JIm Taylor was my roommate during my first two years at Santa Clara. In addition to being an all around good guy and friend Jim was a superb athlete and a leader of the Santa Clara basketball team. As a Sophomore Jim was assigned to guard Seattle University future All American and future NBA Hall of fame player Elgin Baylor on two consecutive nights.
