May the Most High God strengthen your family during this difficult time of sorrow. Please find comfort in Psalms 145:18, 19 promise that "he is near to all those calling on him."

Our condolences to the family. May God fulfill his promise of binding up the brokenhearted. Isa 61:1

You will be solely missed by me and the rest of the family. You were the greatest man I've ever known and have given so much to the world around you. Fly high Uncle Cotter and I'll be seeing you on the other side one day. I love you.

Joanne, so sorry to hear of your loss. Cotter was such an interesting sailor friend. We enjoyed our competition on the water and on shore afterwards our rehashing of the race. Our hearts are saddened by your loss of a spouse, a friend and the love of of your life.

Love to you and your family,

Rod and Jo Schmidt

Joanne and Jim. Sorry to read about the passing of "Doc". Remember him as a prof. but most of all as a member of city council. Joanne, its been a while since our time in Zeeland and Jim, it was a privilege to coach you in summer baseball! God bless you all during this special time!
