Not sure what to say?

We met over our love for animals and sports cars 40 plus years ago. You became a wonderful friend and confidant and even my marriage partner for a few years. You were a man of so many talents and you were so smart and always knew the answers. It was such a pleasure having known and having loved you and to have been loved by you. I am so sorry that I had not talked to you for a couple of years and then, ironically, I was visiting for the weekend in Kansas City, staying in Mission, KS on Jan....

I am so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. Jim really took time with our family and especially with Tony my husband Jim taught Tony a lot of things about being a hard worker and as well as teaching him how to drive different equipment . He will be greatly missed. Angela Carson (Kansas City, Missouri)

Jim was a great man. He was great at everything he did and I would say probably the smartest man I knew. He gave me the gift of teaching me everything he knew about accounting which in turn gave me a chance at future jobs. He truly was a beautiful soul! He helped everyone no matter if you deserved it or not. Every time I drive down I-35 downtown area and see the crazy house he built I can't help but think of his spunk and crazy but great ideas. He was one of the few people I ever knew that...

Missing my uncle ... remembering him as a pet lover, builder, businessman and most of all, friend. A unique man with limitless ability and energy, a dry sense of humor and a wicked gleam in his eye, he will be missed by those whose lives he touched. G'bye Jim ... and Godspeed.

I'd only known Jim for a few years, but he showed me friendship and compassion and true love when I was all alone. He will always be in my heart. I miss him deeply.

Many great memories come flowing back of Jim during Troop 6 campouts and so many events at Wyandotte High School. Jim's penchant for fun touched us all.

I was sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He had been a part of my family and my best friend for over 16 years. Jim was a caring man with a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed.

Jim was a dear family friend for years. He was a Renaissance man whether in a business or a hobby. Jim was there to help when needed and he will be missed by many.

Saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was a generous and unique person and I was glad to have known him. Can't think of anyone else who could sit calmly as a passenger while I drove his Lexus or Lightning at 120+MPH. The Kansas City area has lost someone who made a difference.
