Not sure what to say?

I thought of James today while looking at some vintage drag racing pictures online, wherein following up on my thought of him, discovered he had passed.
I remember him and his buddys working on his Chevy in the garage at the house, getting a ride in his lap behind the wheel of that car at the track. And getting yelled at for letting Floyd into the garage without his shoes. I'm sure those days planted my interest in all things mechanical.

Belated condolences to Floyd and family.

Jim and Carol

Jim Tharpe was a great guy. He often stopped by my work for the afternoon and always had something nice to say. He told me many stories to pass the time. As a fellow Northridge Grad, we always had something to talk about. To carol and Family, My deepest condolences, Jim will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts.

I hope and Pray that the Tharpe family can keep their best memories in the front of their hearts and minds especially during this Holiday Season. It is Faith, Family, Friends, and Football that guided us in our years together and it is still those F's in life that form the...
