James Curtis Thomas, age 70, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Mountain Laurel Rehab facility in Rural Retreat, VA.
Curtis was born on December 8, 1953 to the late James and Pauline Thomas. He was also preceded in death by sister, Sharon Coalson. Curtis enjoyed bowling and playing softball, and for many years he ran a citrus grove in Florida. Curtis had a great sense of humor and was always in good spirits. He will be missed dearly by many.
Survivors include, his daughters, Stacy Thomas and Deanna Thomas; brother, Christopher Thomas; grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Devin and Maddie; multiple great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Miranda and Michael Gobel and children, and Josh and Teresa Coalson.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley’s Funeral Home of Marion, VA is serving the family of James Curtis Thomas.
