I still remember Jim off and on over the years. When we were stationed together at Mather AFB, Jim hitchhiked to Port Huron, Michigan, his home town, for vacation. When he returned he had bought the 1957 Green chevrolet that had a dented oil pan. One of the rods banged on the bottom of the oil pan as long as I remember. He would just check the oil and as long as it was over add oil he would put some gas in it as go to see Scarlet in Vacaville? On March 5, 1965 Ed Allison gave me a ride...

I was sorry to hear that Jim had passed away and wished I could have attended his memorial service.
I remember that he said that he had been to every state except one and that was North Dakota.
Jim, Ed Allison and I were roommates at Mather AFB, in the service, from 1962 to 1965. We had a lot of good times together in those years. I'll never forget the green 1957 4 door sedan that he drove and had bought in Port Huron, Michigan and drove out to Sacramento. It had a dented oil...

Scarlett I remeber Jim in so many ways, but mostly I know we loved and respected each other both as co-workers and as friends.

Jim was a great friend and we admired and respected him..he was a fighter through out his illness ..We feel very privaliged to have known him ...he will be missed

Jim and Scarlett has been my friend for over 40 years and my wonderful memories of the sailing trips, barbeques and just recently their 40th Anniversary party will be cherish forever. I will always have fond memories of Jim's loving and caring ways. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers goes out to Scarlett and all the other family members. May God Bless you all and the wonderful memories of Jim ease the heartfelt sorrow.

Jim and Scarlett were true friends and we shared many fond memories attending conventions together. Jim was one hell of a psycophisologicaldeceptogifer and he will be missed.
