Not sure what to say?

Jim was a wonderful instructor, friend and Landman. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I am truly sorry I missed the funeral.

May God rest his soul.

I am very sorry to read about the passing of Jim. I was a faculty friend of his at UHD for all the years that he was here. I agree that he had a great sense of humor and he was well respected by other faculty and students.

Our deepest sympathy go out to you for the passing of your father. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Tinkler was a great Texan, family man, superb Landman and valued instructor. He served his community, alma maters, and the oil & gas industry with true honesty, valued integrity and his extreme knowledge will be missed by many. I pray for peace of mind to the Tinkler family and I do know we will miss him greatly but we must march on with his spirit and laughter. Godspeed-

Cecilia and family,
