Fr Toal,
I always looked forward to the Masses that you celebrated at St Charles. It was an honor to be present at your 50th aniversery Mass that I clearly remember.
I want thank you again as I did in person for all that you did in our Lord's service.
I have and will continue to pray for you and I ask that you pray for all of us that you have touched.
May God Bless you always, Fr Toal.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Fr. Toal especially Malachy, Bernard and family and Charlie and family. Your brother was a fine priest and we had several occasions when he said Mass for special occasions within the family. Special memories are when we came to Californa to visit Disneyland in 1979. My memories of Father Toal are many
and fond ones. He was kindness to all
whom he served and he served graciously
and without cost to himself. Those who
knew him loved him and he will be missed. God be kind to your soul,
Father Jim.

Rev. James TOAL was a priest that lived what it means to be a priest: one who is in touch with the persons he served, one who was a prayerful priest and one who would come to minister upon request, even if it was in the middle of the night. He was a gentle man of conviction and faith. God Bless you, Father, and rest now in peace.
