Not sure what to say?

A dedicated teacher, gracious gentleman and thoughtful mentor . . . . Rest in peace JT.

Dr. Toman was my interim dean and my graduate studies professor. I last saw Dr. Toman during my Terminal Tower tour/incident, as he was the docent. He was a charismatic, loving man. God rest his soul.

JT was an interim dean at Lorain County Community College, and it was a great pleasure to work with him. Thanks for your guidance and friendship.

Jim and I were close in high school and shared many interests. I read some of his books and knew that he was an excellent educator. He will be missed. Rest well, Jim and thanks for what you did for many of us.

Jim and I were close friends and classmates at Borromeo Seminary High School, 1955 - 1959. We shared a common love for opera. He will be remembered in my prayers. Fr. John G. Vrana, St. Michael Church, Independence, Ohio

I remember Mr Toman from St Wenceslas where I was a student in the early 70's. I am still thankful for his guidance over 40 years later. Rest in peace

Thank you Mr. Toman for being a Great Principal at Byzantine and for being a wonderful person! I cherish the books I have and will miss you smiling face at the IX Center! You made a difference! Fly with the Angels!

Years ago, when working at Cuyahoga County Public Library, my job required setting up programs at my branch. I contacted Jim, after seeing his many interesting books. He made a few presentations at my branch, and the public loved him. Jim was a great educator, eloquent speaker, accommodating and provided so many beautiful slides and insights to the great history of Cleveland. We always had an enthusiastic, large turn-out. Truly, our loss. Thank you, Mr. Toman for all of your hard...

Mr. T you were the best. Glad I got to see you at the Christmas Connection shows. Greatest principal ever. Heaven gained another buccaneer! RIP
