Not sure what to say?

"The family chain has now been broken. The missing links are safe, I know. I pray we'll all be joined together in that city built of gold." This lyric by The Isaacs put into words what I have felt over the loss of my Uncle James. May heaven welcome him with good conversations and much laughter until we all join him again. To Aunt Debbie, Shannon and John, my prayers are with you.

To Jim's family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Jim at the VA Hospital for over 30 years. We became good friends. After I retired in 2008, on my hundreds of clinic visits in the last 17 years, I would stop and visit with Jim every chance possible. Our talks made my day worthwhile! You would not know how much he was liked by so many other coworkers and fellow veterans. He was one of a kind! His friendship was special. I will miss him dearly and will always think of him because he...

Sincere condolences to the family from James’ first cousin William Kincy Smith,II and his wife Dru M. Smith.

I'm so sorry about your loss. James was a good man, husband and father.

May the memories of your loved one bring you comfort in the days ahead. I had the pleasure of working with Jim while at the VA...He will always be remembered by me, as he helped lift my spirits many times... and his quick wit when I was just passing by his cashier window or while he was on a break visiting the hall offices always brought a smile...I am deeply sorry for your loss...It was an honor to know this wonderful friend and fellow Veteran.

My memories are so clear of James & I really never called him Toe, his nickname. We went to FHS in the class of 1965.
He will be forever remembered as one of the good guys
God bless his family

Jim will be missed but never forgotten. RIP my friend
