Not sure what to say?

Jim took a chance and hired me at Foster Wheeler. Although the job called for a degree and I only had 2 Yrs of college, he saw something and took a chance on me. We played golf together after that and he took a liking to me and promoted me to a poisition of being the youngest Buyer in the history of the company. He once said I had " street smarts" that you can´t learn in college snd predicted I´d be very successful someday v Because he took that chance, I went in to prove him right and...

Miss you Dad. I know you are watching over us. Xoxox

Miss you Dad! You are in my heart and thoughts... your ever loving daughter in law. xoxo

Dear Jan and Family: Just read Jim's obit. Today was the first I knew of his passing. How do I express what Jim meant to me as a boss and a friend? He was truly the best. I loved him and admired him and join many others whose lives were enriched by having known him.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you, Jimmy and Susie, their children, and their grandchildren, over the loss of a wonderful man.

James Traister was the Manager of the Purchasing Department at Foster Wheeler Corp. when I started working there in 1973 when I was 21 years old. I always looked up to him and was very impressed by his professionalism and friendliness. He treated people with respect and I had a great deal of respect for him, as well. I met my husband at Foster Wheeler – he also worked in the Purchasing Dept. – and he, too, had a great deal of admiration for Mr. Traister. He was so happy for both of us when...

Jim was my first boss and gave me my first big break, as the youngest Buyer ever at Foster Wheeler, even over the objections of his boss at the time.

He always would sneak off with me on Friday afternoons to get a few golf lessons from me and golf eventually became a passion of his.

I am forever grateful for the opportunity he gave me and the confidence he showed in me. He took me on my first business trip and we traveled together several times thereafter, often...

My Deepest Sympathy to the Traister family. Lately I have been reading the obits and of course I noticed his name.
Mr Traister hired me and was my first boss, Director of Purchasing, at Foster Wheeler back in 1973. I was a kid of 23 and he made a big impression on me.
He was a gentlemen, I remember he was always well dressed and his shoes always shined.
Again, My Deepest Sympathy.
