Not sure what to say?

I was Jim's Chief Petty Officer on the USS Constellation and USS Ranger. I lost track of him until another shipmate put us back in touch several years ago. Jim was a hardworking sailor, liked by all his shipmates and I'm sure he was just as well-liked in his later endeavors. Although I did not get the chance to meet him in later years, I will always remember him as a great friend to all and he will be sorely missed.

Fair Winds & Following Seas, Jim

God speed my friend. Though I didn't know you personally, we shared the same sea. I was RVAH 6. I'm sure you will be watching over your family as we did each other many years ago. God bless and keep your family.

Bob Drake, AE-2, RVAH-11 1967-1970

Reenlistment 7/65 as AQB2

It's really tough to loose a family member, but I also believe it's hard on our crewmates to loose a valued and trusted friend. If I'm not mistaken, his foot prints are on a lot of WestPac and Med Ceilings!!!! Fair Winds and God Bless!

Will look for you later on Fiddler's Green.....

Fair winds and following seas to James and those he left behind. Bill Bramer, CDR, SC, UNSR (RET).

My deepest sympathy to Jim's loved ones. Will meet you on the other side!
