The the Treadway Family:

Please accept my condolences on the death of Dr. James. He was my oldest son's (Frank - 36 years old now)) doctor and we so enjoyed going to his office for checkups, etc. Frank loved to fish also so as he got older he enjoyed Dr. James' fish stories!! He was a fine gentleman and he will be missed.

By the way, Dr. Kent was my younger son's (Adam - 28 years old) doctor. He is a fine gentleman and doctor also - a chip off the old block!

Julie, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love, Cindy

Dr. Treadway was my pediatrician throughout my childhood until I was about 15. Because he was so kind and gentle, I was never afraid to go see him. In fact, I was glad because I knew he would make me well. He was making house calls as late as 1961 or 1962 when I had an especially bad case of chicken pox. He came all the way out to Green Acres Road in Metaire when that area was still newly developed and there was as yet no I-10 to make the drive easier.

My deepest symphathies...

dr kent & family, you and your family are in my prayers and thoughts it was always a pleasure to bring my children to him for a checkup or when they were sick we always talked about the fishing in port sulphur and how he enjoyed coming here. he was a great man and i know will be missed alot by all the family and friends of the lives he touched

Dr. Treadway took care of me, my siblings, my cousins, my children and my granddaughter (for awhile). He was a great doctor and as my mom would say "very easy on the eyes." I believe that us kids were brought to Dr. Treadway just so our moms could stare at him - he was so good looking - don't get me wrong, he was a great doctor - in addition to being a wonderful, caring doctor, he was also extremely good looking. He will be missed by all. We thank God that we had him to take care of us. He is...
