Dr. Treter was a wonderful and kind man, a terrific dentist with a truly caring and careful touch and a genuinely great human being. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
Like many of us, our family history was filled with poor dentisry as kids and we had lousy dental treatment until we became adults. When I got out of college, I went to Dr. Treter to ask him to help fix a lot of past dental neglect on my part and he helped me get back onto the path of good care...

We are so sorry for your loss Dr. Treater was a wonderful person and the best dentist in town. After he retired it took us a long time to replace him. He had a heart of gold. He will surely be missed

I worked for Dr. Treter for many years as his receptionist. I have many fond memories.
We were like family. I was so proud to work for him. He had an EXCEPTIONAL reputation for being one of the best dentists ever. He always helped out the patients that were less fortunate.
He will be missed terribly.
