James Trew, Sr. had a great positive influcence on my life. He accepted me onto his T-Ball team when I was seven and my father was out-of-state working. Coach Trew and his son, Jimmy, often gave me rides to practice and games and had me eat lunch at their home.
Coach Trew, by action and word, helped instill in me the values of family, hard work, fairness, doing your best and perserverance.
He will always have a place in my heart.

I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy at the loss of your loved one. Mr. Trew sounded like a person who had a great love of life. It is never easy when someone dies even after a long illness. It can be a devestating experience. However there is one thing that can sustain us in these times of sorow and that is reliance on God. Psalm 55;22 urges us to throw our burden on him.
