Not sure what to say?

My husband and I knew Mike from football officiating. He was so smart and good at whatever he did. We were fortunate to work with him throughout many years. We know he is in God's loving hands. We pray for his family left behind.
Allen and Heidi Jackson

To the Turner Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Mikey, as I called him, for the NHL at the Carolina Hurricanes' games. Mikey was a great guy and I'm going to miss him. Please find some sort of comfort in knowing how much he was loved by us and that he was part of our "hockey family." I personally find comfort in knowing he is in heaven, is in no pain, and doesn't have to worry about his sugar. I will miss him terribly. We (Off-Ice Officials) will always be...

I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I spoke with him a few weeks ago when he told me that he did not think he could come back to work hockey this year. I (NHL) had been holding his job for him, all of last year, and I was still hoping and praying that he would return. Working with Mike was always a pleasure, he knew his job and did a great job. He was also a wonderful ''people person''. Mike wanted to always do his best and also to make things as good as possible for everyone else....

Joan,
Words cannot express how I feel with the loss of Mike. What an inspiration you were caring for him. I will remember all the good memories with Mike and how he was such a caring person. It was never about himself, it was all about others first. May God give you and the family peace and comfort during this difficult time. No more pain as he enters the gates of Heaven, He will be missed!

Joan & Jennifer,
I am so sad to hear about Mike's passing. He was a good man. You are both in my thoughts as prayers.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I grew to know Mike again when we worked at the RBC Center in Raleigh.
He was a wonderfully sweet and caring man.
Our Loss is Heaven's gain.

Joan,
Andy and I wanted to express our sympathy to you. We were so sad to hear of your brother's death. You were a great sister to Mike and he was blessed to have your love and support. Our thoughts are with you, Lynn Demori
