You are the most amazing woman i know. You are truly an insparation to me and one of my biggest roal modles. You are such a postive person and all ways have a smile on your face in every situation. My prays go out to you at this time and all ways. I wish i could be there to give you a hug. But this will have to do. All my love.

Dear Iris,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. One could not have better neighbors and I am honored by the time spent with you and Jim.

We love you Jim and Iris. You have been like parents to us and grandparents to our boys. They will always remember the home made pizza and taffy! Love, Dale and Joan

Dear Cousins.
It is with much saddness we must say good bye to one of our family members.
This side of the family expresses our love to all of you. We are so blessed to have our faith and know that we will all be together one day. You will all be in our prayers. May God be with you.
A little remembering:
Jim will be greatly missed. He was a giant to me and when I think of him I remember him sitting in that little room off the back porch working on some great project.

Love...

We have great respect and admiration for Brother Updegraff and the Updegraff family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I am profoundly saddened by this news. Please accept my love and heartfelt sympathy. My Grandmother (Jean) has shared with me her fond memories and tender love of all her cousins. With Love.

Dear Iris--you have to be one of my very favorite people--and I have loved being in your home on many occasions and I have loved watching you and Jim interact with each other It was easy to see what a great couple you were and how much you cared for one another. It is hard to lose a spouse at any age--wow,you are lucky to have had 52 wonderful years. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. You are the best! I will never forget your famous garbage bag trick! Love, Joan
