Jim is one of the teachers I think of most often when remembering my development as an artist. I live a wonderful life today, because of the generous teachers that gave me a love for the artists life. My deepest sincere wishes of peace to you and your family at this time in your journey.

Hello, Ginger & Dmitri.
My friend Tim Decker just let me know about Jim. Not many people have as profound an impact on me, both professionally and as a person as Jim Valone did. He was a wonderful teacher and mentor to me. And while he probably wouldn't remember a scrawny kid that he taught some 20+ years ago(RMCAD87-89)..I hope he knows that he was a lightning rod that ignited the creative spirit as well as touch the hearts of many, many young people.
