Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family. I'm reminded of the many times, when I was a child, that the gatherings with my parents Ken and Lucy at St. Patrick's church, Central Little League and pizza at Rick's Tavern. God's Blessings.

We are praying for the entire VanAuken during this time. Your dad was a great friend to our family growing up on Audrey Lane. We will miss Big Jim but will always have the warm memories from that time. Love you guys!!

So sorry for your loss. I always appreciated his good sense of humor. Wish I could be there with all of you. Love - Joann

So sorry about Jim. I wish I was there with him and all of you. I'm a bit too old to be there, 92 now. I always loved having him as a brother. I hope he has a lovely funeral. My love and best wishes to all of you. Your loving sister, Eleanor

I wish I could be there with you all. Uncle Jim was a wonderful man, and I'm sure he will watch over all of you. As requested, I've made a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in your Dad's name. Love, Jennie

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Tom, beautiful eulogy. Sending our condolences to you and your family. We will keep you in our thoughts prayers.

To my cousins ....I´m very sorry for your loss. Uncle Jimmy was always an upbeat positive person and I have a lot of special memories of him. I will do my best to get to the services on Tuesday evening but I am working so I´m not sure I can make it on time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I will light a candle for him.

To all of Jim´s Family: I am very sorry for your loss.
