Not sure what to say?

I served with LTC Van Camp when he commanded 14th Supply and Service Battalion, V Corps Support Command in US Army Europe, Hanau Germany. LTC Van Camp was an outstanding commander. He was a soldier's soldier for whom I have/had great respect. His military record speaks for his wide breadth of service. I will never forget him. My condolences to his wife Erika for her service over long years. Leb wohl, Erika

Lt. Col. Van Camp was my Bn. Commander while I was assigned to B Company 14th S&S in Baumholder Germany. He was a great leader and a truely great man. We still have the stuffed animal he and Erika brought to celebrate my daughters birth in 1970. Very special couple. Thanks for the memories.

Uncle Jimmie was a true American Hero. He served our country well. I learned so much from him. He taught me how to survive when you have nothing. He came from nothing and had everything a real man needs. Love of his family, honor and integrity. We will miss this strong and intelligent man. A person everyone should try to be like. He had few if any faults.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I have such great memories of Jim at our Rotary meetings. He had a gift for telling a good story and was always so positive! A great man has left us. I'm sorry for your loss.
