Not sure what to say?

I remember all the Wiersma Thanksgivings where so many times Jim would fix his plate and then have to abruptly leave because he was on duty. He was a great guy. My sympathy to all of his family. Rest in peace cousin.

I first meet Jim when I was 16 and pulled me over for something. He knew my dad real good and just said to slow down a bit. He turned out to be a great friend to me. A wonderful Christian man . RIP JIM

Deepest sympathies to Jim´s family. Our dad, Bruce Feenstra worked with Jim on the Walker Police department. Many good memories of these men who served. Daughters, Deb and Rod Van Noord Kerri and Todd Van Noord Diane and David Becker Lois Van Heuvelen

I had the honor of knowing Jim through working together in support of our men and women in Blue. A class act that bravely protected our city for many years. Rest in peace sir Johnny Brann Sr.

Thank you for your service Sir

I am proud to have enjoyed Jim´s friendship for nearly forty years. He sat with my wife and me at Denny Bennett´s birthday celebration in October. The war stories flew, and a couple of hours later we agreed we´d do it all again. I think the communities he served, and those he served with were fortunate to have that tall policeman with the neatly trimmed mustache there to help and protect them. Semper Cop.

I was in the same class with Jim in high school. We spent a lot of time together playing table tennis. I am deeply sadden by his passing. Our class keeps getting smaller. Donald Zimmer Class of 1957
